摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for evacuating air from a pressure-regulating valve which can discharge air from a pressure-regulating valve with a sample configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system for evacuating air from a pressure-regulating valve comprises a pressure-regulating valve 27 which opens or closes a valve body installed in a communication channel for communicating a primary chamber 67 and a secondary chamber 68 in a valve housing 64 by a diaphragm composing one face of the secondary chamber 68 based on the atmospheric pressure to adjust the pressure of a functional liquid introduced into the primary chamber 67 from a functional liquid supply means and gravitationally supply the functional liquid to a functional liquid droplet discharge head 25 through the secondary chamber 68 and which also has an air evacuation port 83 for discharging air out of the secondary chamber 68; an air evacuation means communicating with the air evacuation port 83 and for discharging air out of the secondary chamber 68 by suction; a suction and charge means closely attached to the functional liquid droplet discharge head 25 and for suctioning the functional liquid from the functional liquid supply means and initially charging the primary chamber 67 and the secondary chamber 68 with the functional liquid.
