PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy conductor of a wire rod which has excellent warm workability, and is used in a state of being mounted on a moving body. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy wire rod has a composition containing, by mass, 0.1 to 0.4% Fe, 0.1 to 0.3% Cu, 0.02 to 0.2% Mg and 0.02 to 0.2% Si, and further Ti and V by 0.001 to 0.01% in total, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, wherein a cross-sectional shrinkage percentage (Ra value) at 200°C is ≥80%. Further, the tensile strength of the wire rod at ordinary temperature is preferably ≥80 MPa, and its electric conductivity is preferably ≥55% IACS. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
