<p>The method involves supplying a flow of aqueous fiber suspension (1) in a mixing apparatus (5) to a flow of gas i.e. compressed air, with a flow channel so that gas bubbles are formed, where suspension flow is formed from multiple partial flows. The contaminants in the aqueous fiber suspension are collected in flotation foam (4) and discharged, where a flowing direction of the partial flows is inclined to a parallel axis of the flow channel at an angle of 10-30 degree and comprises a direction component that supports rotation of the suspension around an axis of the channel. An independent claim is also included for a floatation device comprising a mixing apparatus.</p> |
