PURPOSE: A control management device of a storage battery pack and a method thereof are provided to prevent accidents in advance. CONSTITUTION: An output current sensing unit(16) senses charging/discharging current or measured current signals of the storage battery pack. A boost converter(3) is comprised of multiphase structure for increasing the output voltage of the storage battery pack. A monitoring controller(2) watches the aging condition or abnormal condition of the storage battery pack. A gate cutoff unit(18) blocks the current flow of a switching device or a cutoff switch of the boost convertor. A switch controller engages with the gate cutoff unit and controls the switching device of the boost convertor.
