PURPOSE: A terminal and a method for providing an emergency call service are provided to supply an emergency call service without charging a call fee. CONSTITUTION: An emergency call initialization setup unit(110) sets an emergency reference sound pressure and an emergency reference frequency. When an emergency situation occurs and sound pressure and frequency are inputted, a sound pressure/frequency comparing unit(120) compares the sound pressure and frequency with the emergency reference sound pressure and the emergency reference frequency. The sound pressure/frequency comparing unit determines whether it is an emergency situation. The sound pressure/frequency comparing unit attempts an extension call to a terminal of a protector. |
