METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING HIGHLIGHT IMAGE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for forming a highlight image are provided to extract an image of a fixed time before/after time when a fixed event occurs, thereby configuring a highlight image. CONSTITUTION: A highlight image configuration command requesting highlight configuration is received(710). A fixed event time is detected from programs configuring the highlight image(720). An image during a fixed period before/after the event occurs is composed as a highlight image(730,740). The fixed period corresponds to set time. The fixed period is determined based on the set highlight image play time and an event generation frequency.
