PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving data in a wireless communication network are provided to improve the through of an entire system by allocating the resources for data transmission and reception only to the stations of a VHT system in a set protection section. CONSTITUTION: It is informed that a non-VHT-station exists in a wireless communication network(122), and a message indicating that data are supposed to be transmitted to plural VHT-stations is transmitted for the non-VHT-station and a VHT-station which exist in the wireless communication network(124). The resource allocation information for the plural VHT-stations is transmitted(126), and the data are transmitted to the plural VHT-stations according to the resource allocation information(130).
