<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for transmitting and receiving address information within a communication system. <P>SOLUTION: A first frame of a paging slot 405 includes a portion of an address of each of pages 401 to 404. Similarly, second, third, and fourth frames of the slot 405 include respective second, third, and fourth portions of paging addresses. The address information is composed within a small frame of the slot 405 so that information within the first frame gives high probability capable of determining that a message addressed to a mobile station is not present on the slot relating to a mobile station. The mobile station determines whether or not the mobile station has a suspended page using a well-known partial address comparing method after receiving the first frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
