<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an electrolyte membrane enhancing joining property to a catalyst electrode layer, and even when a fuel cell is used under a severe using condition such as high temperature for a long time, capable of greatly reducing peeling off of the catalyst electrode layer, in the fuel cell using a solid polymer electrolyte membrane made of crosslinked anion-exchange resin. <P>SOLUTION: A separation membrane for the fuel cell is manufactured by joining a polymer having a weak acidic group such as a carboxyl group to at least one surface of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane made of the crosslinked anion-exchange resin in which an anion-exchange group is a strong basic group such as a quaternary ammonium group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
