<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for alteration of a user interface of a document processing device though execution of alteration of the user interface of the document processing device is usually requires time and difficult, especially under environment wherein many of such devices are installed and used. <P>SOLUTION: A web server is operated on a controller of a document processing device having a processor and a data storage, and a first configuration file is stored in the data storage. A user interface inclusive of a display of indicia corresponding to an operation of the document processing device is displayed on a display of the document processing device in accordance with the first configuration file. User selection data is received, via the web server, corresponding to a user-selected operation of the document processing device corresponding to the displayed indicia and the selection data is displayed in accordance with received user selection data.
