PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the lift of a valve without deteriorating the performance thereof. SOLUTION: A lift adjustment mechanism 41 includes a pair of screw members 44, 45 which are screwed with respective female screw parts 43a, 43b formed in a link arm 12 and a pin member 21 held by the pair of screw members 44, 45 in the small end 12b of the link arm 12. The position of the pin member 21 is changed by rotating the pair of screw members 44, 45. Consequently, the lift of the valve gear can be finely adjusted without disassembling the valve gear 10. The inertia mass of a swing arm 14 is reduced by providing a lift adjustment mechanism 41 to the link arm 12 more than in a case in which the lift adjustment mechanism 41 is provided to the swing arm 14. Consequently, since the polar inertia moment of the swing arm 14 is reduced, the polar inertia moment of the entire part of the valve gear 10 can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
