<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire effectively improving travel performance on an icy road, by simple change in shape of a wavy sipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire provided with a tread pattern having a block 1 where a wavy sipe 10 extended in a wavelike fashion is formed along a longitudinal direction, the wavy sipe 10 has top parts 11 and top parts 12 opposite each other and formed alternately along the longitudinal direction. Tilt parts 11S, 12S formed by tilting the wavy sipe 10 along an amplitude direction AD are provided on grounding surface sides of both of the top parts 11, 12, and the tilt part 11S and the tilt part 12S have the opposite tilt directions of each other.
