<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cooling mechanism, cooling device and cooling method of a robot arm capable of effectively radiating heating of a heating element mounting part of the robot arm, without increasing weight of the robot arm. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heating element mounting part of the robot arm 1 includes a heat radiation means (the cooling mechanism 19) for generating air current by moving of the robot arm 1 and radiating heat in the air current. The heat radiation means includes one or a plurality of sheets of heat radiation plates 22 provided with a plurality of holes 22a in an outer peripheral part of the heating element mounting part.
