PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow high-accuracy identification, even when photographic conditions and fluctuation conditions are different, at registration and authentication. SOLUTION: This object identification device is provided with an object identification data generation means for generating data for object identification from image data input by an image data input means; an object dictionary data generation means for generating object dictionary data from preliminarily registered image data; and an object identification means for identifying a class to which the object related with the image data input by the image data input means is belonging based on the data for object identification and the object dictionary data. The object identification data generation means generates data for object identification, by extracting feature vectors from the partial region of the image data input by the image data input means and performing conversion, corresponding to the partial region to the extracted feature vectors.
