PURPOSE: A contents recommendation method and a system thereof are provided to perform an individual customized service, thereby improving the satisfaction of a consumer. CONSTITUTION: A type divider(140) applies a consumer profile to a rule. A type divider classifies a consumption type of a corresponding consumer. The type divider selects a reference group of the consumer by consumption type information and consumer sensitivity information. A contents recommender(150) detects contents which the reference group prefers from contents management database(120). The contents recommender offers the contents through a user interface(130).
