CLEANING METHOD OF RESIDUAL PCBS AND ELECTRICAL INSULATION OIL IMMERSED ELECTRIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent environmental contamination and global warming by using environmentally-friendly alkyl bromide. CONSTITUTION: A transformer(2) maintains a vacuum condition with a vacuum pump(8). Alkyl bromide is injected into the transformer. PCB(Polychlorinated biphenyls) and electric insulation oil inside the transformer are vaporized with a heater. The vaporized PCB, electric insulation oil, and Alkyl bromide are cooled and condensed at room temperature by a condenser(3). The condensed Alkyl bromide is stored in a cleaning agent tank(13). The condensed PCB and the electric insulation oil are stored in an electric insulation oil storage tank(18).
