<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid discharge head which uses a small number of kinds of materials and a simple manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a liquid discharge head includes the processes of preparing a board where a first layer made of a resin composition not containing a polymerization initiator but containing a compound which can be polymerized by energy line irradiation under the presence of the polymerization initiator is formed on a substrate and a second layer made of an active energy line setting resin composition containing the polymerization initiator is formed on the first layer, pressing a mold with a discharge opening pattern against the first layer and the second layer, hardening the second layer irradiated with the active energy line by baking after exposure after irradiating the second layer with the active energy line over the mold or the substrate through a mechanism selectively screening the active energy line irradiation applied to the part corresponding to the discharge opening existing in the mold or the substrate, forming hardened portions in part of the first layer in which polymerization reaction points of the second layer are dispersed and leaving the rest, removing the mold, pasting the second layer to another supporting board, melting the unhardened portions of the first layer, and separating the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
