PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensate returning device for surely returning condensate to an economizer and a boiler even when a temperature of the condensate is high. SOLUTION: A condensate supply pipe 1 is connected to a condensate storage container 2. A condensate return pump 4 is connected to a lower part of the condensate storage container 2. The condensate return pump 4 is composed of an ejector 10 and a circulation pump 11. A part of a circulation pathway 12 of the condensate return pump 4 is branched and connected to a condensate return pipe 13. The condensate return pipe 13 is connected to the economizer 14. The condensate of high temperature in the condensate storage container 2 is sucked to the ejector 10 of the condensate return pump 4, so that a part of the condensate of high temperature is supplied to the economizer 14 from the condensate return pipe 13, and exchanges heat with a combustion gas of high temperature generated in a steam boiler 15.
