PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development of a mild, adaptable, easily reproducible, rapid and economical drying process for a biological substance, particularly for embedding a human protein. SOLUTION: The method is a process for production of the dried amorphous product including a biologically active substance, particularly a therapeutically active substance and a mixture for stabilization, and comprises: preparing a solution or a suspension of a mixture of the biologically active substance and (a) a carbohydrate and at least one zwitter ionic substance or its derivative having a polar or a non-polar group and/or (b) at least two zwitter ionic substances or their derivatives having polar or non-polar groups and/or (c) at least one zwitter ionic substance having a polar or a non-polar group or multiple zwitter ionic substances or their derivatives having polar or non-polar groups; and drying by convection drying adjusting the relative water content of the solid phase at <70% by the inlet air temperature of 50-300°C.
