PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft coupling mechanism that resists axial angular play between a rotary shaft coupled to an output rotary shaft of an electric motor and a ball screw even after a long period of use, and can not only reduce the transmission of reversing impacts and brush vibrations of the electric motor but also eliminate noise generation. SOLUTION: The shaft coupling mechanism 1 includes a coupling base 3 coupled to a rotary shaft 2, a coupling base 5 coupled to a rotary shaft 4, and a rotation transmitter 8 having a pair of insert-molded rotation transmission members 6 and 7, and is operatively disposed between the two rotary shafts 2 and 4 for transmitting a rotation of the rotary shaft 2 in an R direction to the rotary shaft 4 to couple the two rotary shafts 2 and 4.
