<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, sufficiently securing a rolling space for a game ball, and temporarily staying the game ball and releasing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A rolling surface 202 of a prize winning device 40 includes split inclined faces 202a, 202b. An attitude changing mechanism part is provided to change the inclined attitudes of the split inclined faces 202a, 202b so that a step 230 for staying the game ball B is formed with the upstream end of the downstream split inclined face 202b made higher than the downstream end of the upstream split inclined face 202a. When the step 230 is not produced, the game ball B can be made to flow down without staying, and the whole rolling surface 202 can be used as the rolling space. When the step 230 is produced, the game ball B can be made to stay by the step 230. The rolling surface 202 is returned from the step state to the non-step state, thereby releasing the game ball B from staying, so that the rolling space for the game ball B can be reliably secured.
