The hinge has hinge parts (1, 2) manufactured from sheet metals and connected with each other at a reel (3) by a cylindrical pivot pin (4). Caps (8) are inserted in reel sections (3a, 3c) of one of the hinge parts. The caps include a sleeve like region (9), which receives an end of the pivot pin, and an adjacent head region (10). The caps are completely inserted into the respective reel sections such that end surfaces (12) at the head region are flush connected with a front surface (13) of the reel sections or recoiled into the reel sections relative to the front surface.
