<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve steering feeling when parking a vehicle in a garage and responsiveness of hydraulic assisting force, in an electric power steering device for a vehicle and a ship propelling machine for assisting electric steering force by hydraulic assisting force. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device includes an assisting force setting part for predetermining an ideal total assisting force M that is ideal and demanded with respect to each turning angle θ increased from a turning angle θ smaller than a turning angle θ in which assisting is insufficient with just an electric assisting force A when the vehicle speed is stopped or lower than a fixed value, and also predetermining a difference between the electric assisting force A outputted by an electric assist motor and the ideal total assisting force M for each turning angle θ as a target hydraulic assisting force Ba. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
