摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of preventing or suppressing, even in the event of automatic stop control of the internal combustion engine, subsequent condensation of moisture by cooling of exhaust air with refrigerant, and improving catalyst warm-up property or heater performance. <P>SOLUTION: The ECU 1 performs control for the internal combustion engine 50 which includes an exhaust cooling structure provided with a water-cooled exhaust manifold 11 for cooling exhaust air flowing into a catalyst 12 with the cooling water of an internal combustion engine 50 and a first valve 22 capable of controlling the inflow of cooling water to the water-cooled exhaust manifold 11, and is subjected to automatic stop control and automatic restart control. The ECU includes a detection means which detects temperature of refrigerant distributing in the water-cooled exhaust manifold 11; a control means which controls the first valve 22 to reduce the inflow amount of cooling water to the water-cooled exhaust manifold 11 when the temperature detected by the detection means is below a predetermined value L; and a setting means which increases the predetermined value L when automatic stop control is performed to the internal combustion engine 59. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
