<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep display quality even if either longitudinal image processing or lateral image processing is applied to image data in the case that images based on image data generated by an imaging element are continuously displayed on a display means. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging means 301 to image an object to generate image data; an image processing means 305b to applying image processing to the image data; a display means 104 to display images based on the image data with the image processing applied thereto by the image processing means 305b; and a tilt detection means 305d to detect the tilt of an own device.
