<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a balloon catheter which reduces influences by contact with tissue on the tissue by an end part of the balloon catheter placed in the body as much as possible and has little resistance when inserted. <P>SOLUTION: An indwelling balloon catheter includes: a tube member body having at least a main lumen and a balloon expansion lumen; and a balloon which has a balloon attachment part which is provided for an end side of the tube member body and is smaller than an outer diameter of the tube member body, an end side adhesion part, and a distal end side adhesion part, and is adhered to the balloon attachment part. The end side adhesion part of the balloon has: an axis direction outer surface adhesion part provided on an outer surface in the end axis direction of the balloon attachment part and an end surface adhesion part provided all around the end surface of the balloon attachment part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
