SEPARATION PURIFICATION METHOD OF HYDROCARBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation purification method of hydrocarbons that permits easy separation purification of hydrocarbons having a double bond and hydrocarbons having no double bond from a hydrocarbon mixture in a liquid phase at ordinary temperature, easy regeneration of an adsorbent without adopting vacuum desorption regeneration or heating regeneration and permits separation purification of hydrocarbons into high purity.

SOLUTION: A mixed gas obtained by heating vaporization of a hydrocarbon mixture is passed through a copper chloride-based adsorbent to make only hydrocarbons having a double bond be adsorbed onto the copper chloride-based adsorbent thereby separating them from hydrocarbons having no double bond, and an inert gas is passed through the copper chloride-based adsorbent after having adsorbed the hydrocarbons having a double bond to make the hydrocarbons having a double bond leave thereby regenerating the copper chloride-based adsorbent.
