摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the concentration of ethanol in exhalation by a simple sampling method such as a method for blowing one's breath for analyzing the concentration of ethanol in exhalation, or the like without using a mouthpiece or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The device for analyzing the concentration of ethanol in exhalation has at least two or more kinds of selective photoelectric converters, that is, a first photoelectric converter 16 having a light source 11 for emitting infrared rays and a selective light receiving means matched with the absorption wavelength of carbon dioxide, a second photoelectric converter 15 having a selective light receiving means matched with the absorption wavelength of an ethanol gas, or the like and constituted so that a light guide guides the light emitted from the light source to the photoelectric converters and is filled with a gas to be measured, the attenuation of infrared rays by the absorption of carbon dioxide in the light guide and the attenuation of infrared rays by the absorption of the ethanol gas in the light guide are respectively detected with respect to the attenuation of infrared rays by the absorption of gas in the light guide and the concentration of ethanol in the exhalation is converted on the basis of the ratio of ethanol to carbon dioxide.
