PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a defect of paper in a paper bundle made by gathering. SOLUTION: In this gathering device 10A, a paper feeding tray is respectively arranged so that the paper can be stacked. A paper feeding mechanism 42 is arranged in response to the respective paper feeding trays, and respectively sends out the paper one by one from the papers stacked on the corresponding paper feeding tray. A handy scanner 186 reads paper identification information such as advertiser information for identifying the paper from an identification sign attached to a slip attached to the paper. An identification information acquiring part 202 acquires the read paper identification information. A corresponding relationship making part 200 makes a corresponding relationship database associating the acquired paper identification information with paper feeding tray information indicating the paper feeding tray for stacking the paper identified by its paper identification information.
