PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable navigation device with a camera capable of performing good photographing when installed on a vehicle. SOLUTION: A control part 110, a memory device 115, a GPS function part 113, and a communication part 114 are included in a box body 101. A display part 130 including a touch panel 116 and a camera part 111 are disposed on box body faces 102, 103 opposing each other. The box body 101 is detachably attached to a vehicle 300 via a cradle 200. The control part 110 displays an image photographed by the camera part 111 on the display part 130, and on receiving a prescribed position of the display part 130 via the touch panel 116, determines the prescribed position as a reference value of illumination of the camera part 111 and sets the diaphragm of the camera part 111.
