PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent having high reliability, in which cracking is inhibited from occurring even if heat history or stress generated thereby is applied and the function as the coating agent can be maintained even if cracking occurs. SOLUTION: The coating agent, which is used for electronic device and electronic apparatuses, comprises resin 2 and a plurality of flaky corrosion-resistant substrates 3 mixed in the resin 2, wherein the cross-sectional shape of the corrosion-resistant substrate 3 is substantially wavy.
