PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus for determining collision with high accuracy according to a travel state. SOLUTION: The driving support apparatus 1 determines the possibility of a collision between a vehicle entering an intersection and a moving object, and includes a determining means 31d for determining the possibility of a collision between the vehicle and the moving object at the intersection. The determining means 31d uses variable collision criterion. The determining means 31d uses a stricter collision criterion when the vehicle speed is lower, uses the strict collision criterion when the distance from the vehicle to the intersection is shorter, and uses the strict collision criterion when the traffic volume between the vehicle and the intersection is larger.
