<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform the parasitic capacity of each wiring in a liquid crystal display device having a hole in a display section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Under a light shielding layer 11 near the hole 10, the width of terminated scanning lines 4 and auxiliary capacity lines 5 is greater than the width of the scanning line 4 and auxiliary capacity lines 5 in a display area 2. Thus, the capacity formed by each wiring under the light shielding layer 11 becomes larger than the capacity formed by each wiring in the display area 2.
