<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of eliminating the need of correcting the reading value of a signal for every optical disk device when manufacturing the optical disk device, and to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: When a light emitting pattern of a light source 2a is set, a recording is performed in an optical disk 1 while driving a light emitting quantity adjusting circuit 4 adjusting light emitting quantity of the light source 2a with a plurality of drive values, recording signals corresponding to respective drive values are reproduced, and an adjustment target value of the light emitting quantity adjusting circuit 4 is decided, a CPU 11 measures phase difference to a reference clock of a rise region of a recording signal when the recording signal is reproduced, the adjustment target value of the light emitting quantity adjusting circuit 4 is decided from the phase difference being different in accordance with the drive values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
