<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shaver of new configuration which is capable of efficiently improving shaving performance by vibrations. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A head section 3 provided so as to project from a body section 2 and having a hair shaving section 4 includes, besides a drive mechanism 5 for driving the hair shaving section 4, a vibration generating mechanism 13. When the head section 3 is swingably attached to the body section 2, the swing vibrations of the head section 3 are generated and the shaving performance is more efficiently improved.
