PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel consumption information providing system, capable of providing further effective information for contributing to improvement in fuel consumption. SOLUTION: A reference travel time information holding part 110 holds reference travel time information showing an estimated reference travel time required for traveling an optional traveling section, and a reference fuel consumption information holding part 121 holds reference fuel consumption information showing an estimated reference fuel consumption in the traveling of the traveling section. Further, a travel time information acquisition part 130 acquires travel time information showing an actual time required for the traveling of the traveling section, and a fuel consumption acquisition part 140 acquires fuel consumption information showing an actual fuel consumption in the traveling of the traveling section. A fuel consumption information providing part 150 provides each piece of the held reference travel time information and reference fuel consumption information, and the acquired travel time information and fuel consumption information to a user in a state such that reference-related information and acquisition-related information can be compared to each other.
