PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle, concurrently achieving turning performance and vibration absorbance. SOLUTION: The dynamic modulus of elasticity of side rubber 32 at 30°C is set at 12 MPa or more. The dynamic modulus of elasticity of the side rubber under a lower strain state is set higher than a conventional one, so that lateral rigidity during ordinary running becomes higher than a conventional one, and when a camber angle is provided, no time delay occurs at a self steer, thus improving turning performance. A 300% elongation modulus at 30°C is set at 9 MPa or less, and therefore, in the state where deformation (distortion) of a sidewall portion becomes larger owing to getting over a protrusion or running on a road surface having excessively uneven portions, the modulus of the side rubber 32 does not become so high.
