PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perfectly eliminate the occurrence of a dry spot in a multiple-effect fresh water generator for producing fresh water from seawater. SOLUTION: The multiple-effect fresh water generator includes a heat transfer tube bundle 12, comprising a plurality of horizontal heat transfer tubes 21, and nozzles 13 for spraying seawater onto the heat transfer tube bundle from above.
