PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of electric corrosion of a bearing in an electric motor driven by an inverter in a PWM system. SOLUTION: The electric motor is provided with: a stator which includes a stator core wound with windings; a rotating body 30 which holds a plurality of magnets 32 facing the stator in the circumferential direction; a shaft 16 coupled to the rotating body so as to penetrate the center of the rotating body 30; an outer core 31a which constitutes the outside circumferential part of the rotating body 30; an inner core 31b, which constitutes the inside circumferential part coupled to the shaft 16; a dielectric layer 50 arranged between the outer core 31a and inner core 31b, a bearing 15, which supports the shaft 16; and a bracket which fixes the bearing.
