The device (1) has two clutch units (6, 7) that are operated in an independent manner and comprise friction linings for dry friction. A cooling device dissipates the heat energy directed outside the device, where the heat energy is produced within the device. The cooling device has flow channels (17, 18, 19a, 19b, 21a, 21b) provided for cooling medium i.e. water. The flow channels extend within the device. The flow channels are designed as closed cooling circuit with an inlet and an outlet that are connected via a gearbox input shaft.
