<p>The present invention discloses a dual-interface external serial advanced technology attachment(eSATA)connector, a socket and a storing device. The eSATA connector includes a connector body which includes a supporting component. A circuit which complies with the universal serial bus (USB) interface connector protocol is set on the upper surface of the supporting component, and a data transmission circuit which complies with the eSATA interface connector protocol is set on the lower surface of the supporting component. The metallic shells which are set on the upper and lower outside surfaces of existing eSATA plugs and the protruding clips set on the left side and the right side of existing eSATA plugs are removed from the supporting component. The present invention reduces the thickness and the volume of the eSATA connector. In addition, a USB plug circuit is set on one surface of the eSATA connector, and an eSATA plug circuit is set on another surface of said connector. Providing the functions of both an eSATA plug and of a USB plug, the dual-interface eSATA connector facilitates user operations.</p> |
