<p>A vehicle seat allows, using a simple structure independent of a headrest, the entire body, including the waist, of the occupant sitting on the vehicle seat to sink (move) a large amount toward the rear of the vehicle when a rear collision occurs, and thus the vehicle seat can effectively reduce an impact to the occupant in the rear collision. A vehicle seat (S) is provided with: a seatback frame (1); a headrest (S3); a pressure receiving member (20) moving independently of the headrest (S3) and supporting the occupant's body; and a rotation member (30) provided to either one and/or the other of side sections of the seatback frame (1), connected to the pressure receiving member (20), and moves independently of the headrest (S3) due to a predetermined impact load. The entire pressure receiving member (20) moves toward the rear of the vehicle due to the predetermined impact load greater than a normal sitting load.</p> |
