PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-shaped cosmetic container facilitating replacement of a refill stored inside, and having no risk of losing a cap covering the tip of the refill. SOLUTION: A cylindrical refill cover 1 including the cap 11 at the upper end is rotatably fitted to an upper opening 2d of a refill holder 2 storing a refill 24, and an adapter 3 for fixing a turning operation portion 27b of the refill 24 is unrotatably fitted into a lower opening 2e of the refill holder 2. The outside diameter of an outer cylinder 25 at the upper part of the refill 24 is inserted into and fitted to the inner periphery 1c of the refill cover 1, and the turning operation portion 27b of the lower part of the refill 24 is pushed into and fixed to the inner peripheral surface 3e of the adapter 3 fitted to the inner periphery 2c of the refill holder 2. The stick-shaped cosmetic container has no risk of losing the cap 11, and the refill 24 stored in the refill holder 2 can be simply replaced by removing a lower bottom member 4.
