PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide shaft supporting device provided for guiding movement operation of an optical pickup device. SOLUTION: In the guide shaft supporting device, bearings 25, 26 rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 21 of a spindle motor 3 rotating a turntable 20 are fixed, and a first supporting member 14 and a second supporting member 18 regulating fixing positions of a main guide shaft 13 and a sub-guide shaft 17 which are provided for moving the optical pickup device in the radial direction of an optical device are integrally formed at a motor base plate 2 constituting the spindle motor 3.
