PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal synchronizing system and a method for synchronizing a plurality of portable terminales by a simple synchronization operation. SOLUTION: The portable terminal synchronizing system 1 has portable terminals 10a, 10b and a synchronization execution server device 20. When a synchronization operation such as shaking a portable terminal is performed, the portable terminal 10a acquires the synchronization operation data based on the synchronization operation to transmit the synchronization operation data to the synchronization execution server device 20 (300). The portable terminal 10b also performs the same operation (301). The synchronization execution server device 20 determines whether or not the synchronization operation data received respectively from the portable terminals 10a, 10b are within a predetermined error. When it is determined that the synchronization operation data is within the predetermined error, the synchronization execution server device 20 starts the synchronization of the portable terminals 10a, 10b and transmits the result of the start of synchronization to the portable terminals 10a, 10b, respectively (310, 311). The portable terminals 10a, 10b of which synchronization is started, transmit and receive the synchronous data through the synchronization execution server device 20 (320, 321).
