PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for an automobile capable of surely protecting the surface of a coil spring with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A cushion seat 18 disposed between a coil spring and a lower side spring seat member supporting a lower end part is composed of an annular body 34, a seat part 36 extending along the annular body as one unit with the annular body 34, and a separation part 32 connected to the seat part 36 and extending along an outer circumference surface thereof separately from the annular body 34, and is supported by supporting a seat part of the coil spring by the seat part 36, and fitting an inclination start part of the coil spring to a fitting groove 46 formed on an upper surface of the separation part 32.
