An exhaust-gas section for an internal combustion engine has a line (24) which leads through a nitrogen-oxide storage catalytic converter (22) and a bypass line (26) which bypasses the nitrogen-oxide storage catalytic converter (22), wherein two valves (34, 36) are arranged behind one another in the bypass line (26) or the line (24), by means of which two valves (34, 36) the bypass line or the line can be closed, and has, furthermore, a return line (50) which emanates from the bypass line (26) or the line (24) between the valves (34, 36) and can be connected to a vacuum source (52) for extracting gas which is situated between the valves. |
