The method involves providing a cleaner (2) for removing impurities by floatation. Thickenings (3', 3) are formed in filtrate systems (F3, F3', TF3) that follow the cleaner, where a downstream thickening is partially recognized by one of the thickenings. A part of one of the filtrate systems (F3') is recognized from the upstream thickening, and another part of the filtrate system is recognized by the cleaner. The filtrate systems are recognized directly behind a floatation device.
