PURPOSE: A device for breaking a window for an emergency is provided to allow anyone to easily use the device by detachably forming the device in the window of a vehicle or a building. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for breaking a window for an emergency comprises a hollow fixing member(110), a breaking member(120), and a cap member(130). One surface of the fixing member is fixed to a window. The breaking member is embedded in the fixing member and is vertically guided. One end of the breaking member is protruded from the fixing member, and the other end breaks the window. One end of the breaking member is fixed to the inner side of the cap member. The inner surface of the cap member is moved along the outer surface of the fixing member.
