PURPOSE: An accumulator for a refrigerator is provided to prevent liquid refrigerant from flown into a compressor by easily draining the liquid refrigerant to a refrigerant discharging pipe by using the buoyancy of an opening/closing floating member in an initial state of a refrigerator operation. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator accumulator comprises: a refrigerant intake pipe(200) which is connected to an evaporator; a refrigerant discharge pipe(300) which is connected to a compressor; a connecting pipe(510) which communicates the refrigerant intake pipe and the refrigerant discharge pipe and moves along the refrigerant intake pipe and the refrigerant discharge pipe and wherein a liquid refrigerant outflow hole(511) is formed in the top end of the connecting pipe; and an opening/closing floating member(530) which is integrally formed with the connecting pipe with being covering the outer circumference of the connecting pipe and has a buoyancy force. The liquid refrigerant outflow hole is opened and closed by the rising and the falling of the connecting pipe and the opening/closing floating member according to the change of the level of the liquid refrigerant.
